Prayers are With Virginia Tech

Our hearts ache for you Virginia Tech, with unimaginable grief
We do not understand the reason, for there is no reason
There is no logic, there is only left the pain, and the sorrow
Why must there be things we will never understand?
Times, moments seconds, that we cannot bring back
How we long to do so, longing in our grief

PC Police are on the Take

Al Sharpton and Jessie Jackson beat the I-man, they took him down right quick. And now, people want them to continue their crusade with the vulgar likes of Rap Music. I have not heard either one of these gentlemen denounce and ask for the firing of any Rap Singers. The problem is...there is a very big double standard. It is so prevalent after the comments Don Imus made, yes, they were terrible. But worse is the crap i hear spewing our of young teen vehicles that I am unfortunate enough to have to be stuck in at a red light with. What Imus said was mild to this vile garbage that Sharpton and Jackson have never condemned. No.. I am sorry you cannot claim this terrible music as a cultural thing. If I even tried to buy into that bunch of garbage, I would have to believe that you want to degrade women, just don't let white men  do it. Come on, that is ridiculous. This is serious. I have been fighting for 15 years to get this rap music to put down their vile lyrics, and the most i ever accomplished was getting a local cd shop to put Beasty Boys "Nasty as you Wanna Be" behind the counter. I don't have the voice of Jackson and Sharpton, I have no pull at all. I am just a concerned Parent and now Grandparent trying to protect my children from hearing this crap. I do not like the selective extinction of Don Imus.
